    C-3 rocker moldings

Can the 1970 C-3 moldings be polished? I have two pair of originals that are driver quality but I would like all of them to look a lot better. Any safe methods of refurbishing them?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Problem is they were clear anodized and when you polish you remove the anodizing.... Most plating shops don't have a big enough tank to immerse the rocker covers in to re-anodize them and you have to look around diligently for such a shop.

One 'trick' is to think AIRCRAFT. You'll find specialty plating shops scattered around the US, usually near major metro area airfields, that specialize in aero plating services. Cad is still recognized by the FAA as a vital plating for aircraft propellers and some props are HUGE. A shop like this is your best bet for handling a part as large as Shark rocker moldings!
