    Loose 67 strut arm

I am assembling the rear suspension on a 67 small block roadster. The strut arms have a lot of play on the camber adjusting bolts. New bushings have been istalled. The inside diameter of the strut arm bushings is much larger that the outside diameter of the camber adjusting bolts. Would worn strut bushing caps cause too much play between the bolts and the bushings?

The bushing caps should fit snuggly into the bushings and the camber adjusting bolts should fit snuggly into the cap. Determine which is loose. I would suspect the the caps are worn out. Less than a $2.00 item. No better time than the present to replace them. I am sure that Joe Ray, Dr Rebuilt, Tom Keen, or any number of other parts vendors would be happy to take your credit card number and send you four of these caps.
