    Cast Iron Torque Converter

If your looking for the correct cast iron PG torque Converter 55 Corvette up it's easy to know when you see one.It has twice as many bolts holding the pieces to gather ( see pic) where as the CAR has half as many. GM must think they needed them because of the high RPM Corvette could do, so that the "O" ring dint leek.

That's what mine looked llke this summer. Amazing; 30 bolts holding it together and only 3 holding the whole kit-n-kaboodle to the flywheel! Ken
