    do the 53-55 Corvette and 53-54 Chevy have the same brakes?

      Now I am wondering, yes I am wrong, or yes they are the same. I am having a litte trouble finding books old enough to cross-reference, but I've alwys tough they were.

            55 or 56 or 57 Chevy's work good for me in a 55 vett.I use wibbitted ones!
            But if you like those they will work.

                I think 58 Passenger car shaes are the same. I'm also thinking that rear chevy shoes from around 69 or 70 are the same number as the 57 fronts ( that's what the guy at Car Quest told me) . I was suprised he had them in stock .

                  The reason I use wibbitted shoes is that dissipate the heat better then bonded.
