    carter 3269 vs. 3721

What is the difference between these two types of carter carburators? I know the 3269 is used in 1962 Corvettes, the 3721 is used in 1964 corvettes.

At a glance, they look the same.

    Thanks.

The primary difference is calibration which includes the metering jets and step-up rods, the primary venturi clusters, which contain the idle jet and idle air bleed, and choke system The shop manuals for each year will provide some of the detailed specifications which distinguish these various Carter AFBs.
