Starter #'s ????

I want to know what this starter is for. The #'s are 1108430 1F30 2. It has a cast iron nose with a staggered bolt pattern.

I got my rebuilt 1108429 starter from him. It was for a 1970 LS-5 automatic. Yours may be for a standard transmission for 1971 but that is only a guess.

Starter PN 1108430 was used on Corvettes equipped with 350 ci engines and turbohydramatic transmission from 70 through early 75; I don't know what other GM applications it may have had. Judging by the date stamp (June 30, 1971), it could have been a very late 71 Corvette 350/auto, or possibly an early 72.

Do you know what it came off?

thanks for the info I am thinking about selling this starter. It is VERY CLEAN & in great shape. What is it worth????

I have no idea. Fortunately, I have never had to shop starters.
