T.I. Distributor

My brother was going through his 30 + years of collected parts and found a T.I. distributor #1111971 that he purchased new in either 1969 or 1970. He can not recall what it was used on. Does anybody know the application and or value?

370hp LT-1, 1970 with K-66 per the '70 service manual.

All the 1970 LT1s that have ever shown up, as far as we know, use a 1111491 distributor. Of course one can't rule out pilot or other special builds for in-house use.

That sounds correct. The 74 printing of the parts book lists the 1111491 for 1970 w/sp. H/Per 350. The 1111971 is shown as the correct distributor for 1969 T. Ign. w/sp. h/per 350.
