C2-Bolt On Screwdriver

Today I visited the previous owner of my 67. One of the very pleasant results was the discovery of a screwdriver that in all appearances matches the drawing in Nolan Adams book. However the handle is painted black which is not what I expected. Anyone have any knowledge of the appearance of original handles?
BTW, the tool was found in a bucket of gardening tools! Thanks

I've seen is red with routed grooves left in natural wood. The key line is "Made in the U.S. of A." Recent repops are worded differently.
I can provide the measurements if you need them.

Here's one I saw at the Windsor National; don't know enough about them to spot an original vs. a reproduction, but this one sez "Made in U.S. of A".
