    56-57 clock problem

This 57 clock when you hook it up makes a buzzing noise. You unhook it and it will tick. Anyone have any idea's what the problem might be ? Thanks john

John, I'm guessing, but sounds like the "rewind solinoid" may have stripped a gear. Think I'd send it to a clock guru for a fix. Usually not a ton of frogskins. Best, Dennis
