    rocker moldings

On A 66 Rocker Moulding... is the entire rib exposed ,ie.top and sides,or just the very top unpainted?
In either case what clever suggestions can you give me on how to paint them ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jim

    Re: rocker moldings

It has pointed out to me that my message is vague!
I am refering to the middle ribs that show thru the black out portion.

      Jim,

I believe that only the top of the ribs are unpainted. You can slap masking tape over the top of the ribs and trim it back with a razor blade. This is easy to do on the 66 style rockers and you can get 2 or 3 ribs at a time with one strip of masking tape.

Or, you can paint them all and just come back with a Q-tip dipped in lacquer thinner and clean off the tops before the paint completly drys.

Use satin flat black self etching trim paint availble in auto paint supply houses.

      good luck,
      tc
