repair spark plug bracket on valve cover

Hello All - Due to my fat elbows I managed to knock the support bracket for the spark plugs off the top of the valve cover of my big block motor on the driver's side. (This is the approximately 4" metal bracket that is mounted to the valve cover). What is the best way to repair this? 1) epoxy glue or 2) weld it back on? If welded, what type of welding technique?

Can someone also confirm that the spark plugs are actually only attached on the passenger's side, but not used on the driver's side?

    thanks,
    ken

Take the cover and bracket to a collision shop - they'll have a spot-welder.

If you don't have a welder then J B Weld in a tube does a great job with that.
