Thanks to all for your advice on how to fix my broken heater box. I used Joe's method of JB weld here is the result.

Now just make sure that you don't overtorque the nuts when you re-install the box. If you do, you could break it off again (or, break off one of the other ones). The correct torque is 35-50 pound-INCHES. That won't feel like it's "enough". But, it's enough.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

I used the JB weld method. After it dried, i used my die grinder with a small wire brush to dull the finish of the JB weld.- Top
