I saw this on Corvette Forum.
The discussion was side pipe cars. A gentleman stated unequivically (sp?) that all AO Smith cars were non sidepipe cars. ST Louis cars were the only sidepipe cars and if your AO car has pipes, it is a fake, because he was there he knows.
Is that a total truth? Half truth? No truth? In 30 years of sidepipes that's a new one on me.
Said AO could not modify birdcage as they did not know when body would be used.
