    65 Hardtop Car?

What is the best way (if any) to tell if it is a true hardtop car if you don't have the original order sheet and the hardtop is missing?

Quick check is the rear decklid -- does it have the extra 2 holes with bezels near the soft-top latches ? [If hardtop-only, will NOT have the soft-top fittings -- really rare] Also, hartop decklids had another 2 holes with bolt/nut hardware near the forward edges, where the vinyl edge trim ends. I'm assuming the hardtop wrench in the glove-box is long gone.

Thanks for the help. I'll go check it out and get back with any additional questions. You're correct that the wrench is missing....or never existed. I'll soon see if it ever did.

      Thanks again.
