    1959 Window Glass

Hello, I have a question regarding the glass for my 1959 Corvette. Is it okay if the LOF insignia and date code is backwards on the passenger side door glass as viewed from the outside of the car? In other words looking at the glass from the outside it reads in reverse. Appreciate your response as always, Jerry

Got a 62 w. original glass and passenger glass from outside the LOF Safty Plate is backwards.

Your not by fare the only one to have it that way. Don't worry.

        Re: 1959 Window Glass

C1 side window glass is dead flat, and exactly the same piece of glass (one part number) was used for both right and left sides; only the differences in the sash and frames made the glass assemblies as shown in the A.I.M. right and left hand part numbers. That's why the logo shows differently on each side - it's the same piece of glass on both sides.
