Hey Doc, C2 L/H outer Headlight Pivot question

One my existing L/H outer pivot there is the remains of a plastic piece that is attached to the "cam" end. Does anyone know if that piece is available, I can't locate it in any catalog.

You didn't mention the year.... however on a '67 there are no plastic pieces on the headlite bucket shafts. None show in the assembly manual either. Could you be talking about the seals which are a metal and rubber stepped/grooved "washer" type device that is black and is the first item installed onto the shaft when assembling the entire assy???

Steve, yes it is a '67. No, there is some white plastic shaped to the cam end, I assume it is some type of rub strip to prevent the metal cam from wearing.

I can't visualize the "cam" you are talking about. Are you inside the headlite bucket or on the rotating 3/4 inch diameter shaft external of the bucket??
