Technique needed on C3 Interior Door Panel Install

I have a new set of Al Knoch Door panels. I am having some difficulty getting them on. It seems that when I get the door opener through the panel, I cant seem to get the panel to "hook" on the top of the inner door. Does the felt on the panel actually touch the glass?

If some one could share their tips, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

Remove the interior door release handle. Install the panel over the top of the interior door frame, usually takes a little persuasion but not a "bigger hammer". Once you get it into position you will have to take a tool and pull the release mechanism out to where you can reinstall the door handle. That is the part that can be a pain. Need three or four hands but not room but for one.
