I am adding the "1958-60 Corvette Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide" to my library. I am also going to add "Chevrolet by the Numbers" by Colvin. Is there a lot of overlap in these to books and should I consider buying a different book rather than Colvin? Thanks

Re: Additions to Tech Library
John----
I think you will find that there is VERY little "overlap" between the two reference sources which you are considering adding to your library. Both are excellent and provide unique types of information. Bear in mind, though, that Alan Colvin's books do not cover Corvettes, alone, but all Chevrolet passenger cars for the period of the particular volume(there are currently 4). This information regarding other Chevrolet pasenger cars can be EXTREMELY useful to Corvette aficionados, too. You will not be wasting a CENT by purchasing both publications. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
