main jet---------GM #7031978-----stamped "78"-----0.078"

main rod---------GM #7034848-----stamped 48B

secondary rod----GM #7033549-----stamped "AX"

sec rod holder---GM #7034522

All of the above-referenced items are still available from GM under the part numbers provided.

joe the 522 secondary metering rod hanger is the only number available for service,it may not have been what was used on the carb originally. even my GM rochester service catalog only list the 522. there were 20 different ones used on orignal carbs with a distance of .520 to .615,in .050 steps,from the mounting surface to the center of the rod hanger hole

Yes, I agree. I believe that there were quite a few different secondary rod holders used in PRODUCTION. However, from what I can tell, the only holder ever available in SERVICE was/is the GM #7034522. It's hard to understand how, if so many different ones were required in PRODUCTION, only one was ever supplied/required in SERVICE. But, that's how it is, as far as I can tell.

Also, I don't know of any way to ID the different holders used in PRODUCTION; I don't think that they were marked in any way. At least, I've never noticed any markings on these.

they should have letters stamped on them, from "B" to "V" without a "Q". the 522 should have a "V" on it.

Thanks for info on the 7040205 I can use it. But I need same info on the 7040502 350 Cu.In. Qjet also where can I get parts sheets for Qjets 70-77 I have 66-69.
