One of the best NCRS Meets ever

From whence cometh this trip down
"Memory Lane"? I happen to agree with the status of the meet and would comment that we were still trying to learn more about the Corvette and how it was built. Way, way before the critical factor became "How many judging points can I earn if I come in the week before and sleep 10 days under the Golden Gate bridge?".
I'll remember asking Zora in his tech session if "he would like to comment on the Jim Hall/Chevrolet realtionship during the Chaparral years?." His response was "No. Chevrolet have authority over retirement check.">
Continuing kudos to Noland, Martin Ball and the rest of the Northern California Chapter for this event.- Top

Re: One of the best NCRS Meets ever
That pic. took me back, remember I was the one pulling this willy trailer behind my 60 Honduras Corvette. Don Mullenhoff had his BLACK 54 that NCRS said never happened. No one ever saw Zora till then, remember when he took some ones white 54 and was gone for two hours getting a hair cut.The guy that owned it thought Zora stooled it. Ivan Baily was my neighbor in Burbank. Wilson Swilley and I were helping to write the NCRS JM.
I had one of the first Video cameras and was intervening all the Corvette owners and they thought I was with a TV station. It surly was one of the great meets ever. That's where I first met Dave Ferguson and sold him a power top assy for his 56 Corvette. .Noland and I first met some years earlier at the turkey ranch in Fresno.I still have the Video's I took.
Remember ! NCRS didn't sanction the meet so Noland by his self put it on.
