After removing the inner u-bolts and outer bolts, do any other suspension components need to be removed or loosened in order to remove the half shaft?

Re: C2 HALF SHAFT REMOVAL
No, but you may have to raise or lower (most likely lower, IIRC) the trailing arm in order to "lengthen" the distance from the differential to the trailing arm and allow enough room for the half shaft to come out.

Re: C2 HALF SHAFT REMOVAL
I use a plain ole' carpenter's crow bar to pry and rotate the trailing arm to expand the distance for the half shft to come out. They come out easily that way. There's plenty of heavy metal to pry against. Just don't pry on anything flimsy. Without looking I can't remember which contact points I use.- Top

Re: C2 HALF SHAFT REMOVAL
Got the half shaft out, thought the original u-joints were the sourse of a squeek. Turns out they're fine, smooth and quite with no signs of producting a squeek. I re-installed it and will be looking for the source of the squeek, which seems to match the rotation of the right rear wheel. Any thoughts?....- Top
