My '67 400 horse car cold starts fine after sitting for a long time. After starting, it will run fine and idle smooth. When I shut it down, the only way to start it back up when warm is to crank and crank with my foot all the way to the floor until it sputters and starts.
I've been able to determine that the front carb is dripping fuel into the intake and flooding the engine when I restart the car. I've checked the float level and it appears fine. What would cause the fuel to drip so heavily into the intake from the front carb?
