    1963 ELECTRICAL QUESTION

I just replaced the dash harness on my 64. Do not have air conditioning.
    I have two problems...
    1. My Hi-Beam indicator lights up when my normal driving headlights are on, and the indicator turns off when I use my Hi-Beams...
    2. My heater blower works fine with the engine off. When I have the engine running and turn the heater on, I blow the 10amp heater fuse in my fuse box.
I'm stumped (and lousy at electrics)...any help would be appreciated. thanks!

    Re: 1963 ELECTRICAL QUESTION

    Mike -

The hi-beam light in the cluster is fed from the same cavity in the hi-beam floor switch connector (light green wire) that feeds the high beam headlamps; if the high beam light is on in the cluster, there's power going forward in the light green wire to the headlamps. If you have low beam headlamps on with the high beam warning lamp on, the tan wire (low beams) and the light green wire (high beams) are crossed in the connector to the headlight harness forward of the radiator support.
