89 third brake light

My 1989 vette's third brake light does not come on. The standard brake lights work fine. There is no voltage at the third brake light. Is there a relay or fuse in the circuit that I need to check to get the brake light working again?

steve the third brake light runs off the same fuse as brake lights 20amp.the power wire comes off the brake switch .its a 20ga. wire light blue . also be sure to check your gound wire black wire.if you have a fax i will send you wiring diagram.MIKE

Thanks for your help Mike. The problem turned out to be a bad brake light switch. It was difficult to understand because it partially worked on the main brake lights. The switch has duty on two circuits though and I guess one set of contacts was not making.
