HELP!
I am in the process of assembling my training arms on my 69' coupe and I can't press the spindles back into the bearings unless I know the torque for the emergency brake anchor bolt for the rear shoes.
I have all the factory shop manuals for 69 thru 74 Corvettes and not one of them seems to indicate a torque setting for this bolt. I can find the torque for the backing plate/spindle housing bolts (30 ft/lbs) but nothing the the large anchor bolt at the top of the backing plate. Either I'm just being stupid and can't find it or GM failed to supply this little piece of information.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Elm
