I need a recommendation from our knowledgeable membership. I would like someone to rebuild a 63 power brake booster that I would not entrust to anyone locally, any assistance will be, as always, greatly appreciated.
I have used Steve Gregori in Sanger, CA for my last 2 booster rebuilds. His work is outstanding. He charges $125.00 (last year) for rebuild and correct plating. A work of art. Phone is 209-875-0290.
Its been 6 or 7 years, but I had my '63 booster rebuilt and replated by Power Brake Service, 13150 Artic Circle, Santa Fe Springs, CA (was 213-802-1683, but I expect the area code has changed).
Booster Dewey did mine and I was very pleased. There had been some question in NCRS as to the color of the plating, so he sent me a copy of the GM memo to the supplier that specified the color. Very helpful when you hit a judge that wants to question if yours is correct. Ken Schurr #4760
