I'm trying to find out how correct or not a '69 tri-power set I received in a trade is. The ends are list 3659s with late 68 dates and the center is a 3660 with a service date either in '70 or '80. The 3659s looks like someone tried to use the primary side bowls that were set up for an accelerator pump and filled them with some type of putty, so I think I need to get a set of center hung vacuum secondary bowls. On the 3660 it has a 5101 metering plate which I assume is wrong also and should be a 5062. The intake is a 3937795 dated late '68 and the air cleaner appears to be an original unit but needs a little work.
Lots of questions
Are there any unique characteristics on the bowls? Anyone know a source to get the fuel bowls? I figured the new ones holley sells wouldn't have the patent numbers like the originals did.
What carb is the 5101 metering plate used for?
Also I need the screws to hold the vacuum pods on the secondary carbs, any idea where to get them?
What numbers should the throttle plates have?
Thanks
