    C2 Heater fuse

Anyone know why my heater fan works fine with the engine off, but when it's running and I turn the heater on it blows the 10amp fuse in the fuse box. I used a 20 amp fuse and it will work with the engine running, but my instrument lights appear noticably dimmer when my lights are on. thanks

What year are you working with? My 67 owners manual calls for a 25 amp fuse with a 30 amp. for high blower speed (in Line)

        It's a 64. Calls for a 10 amp fuse since I don't have air conditioning. thanks

It would help to get a little more information. You say it runs with the engine off. Does that mean with the key in the off position or in the run position but without the engine running. My guess is that you have the ground wire to the blower motor hooked up to the hot wire at the starter. How about the wipers? What do they act like?

I was blowing the fuse before I replaced the harness. I put a new resistor on and now it seems to work fine. Thanks for the help though.
