      Re: www.corrosionx.com

      Also try http://www.x-autoproducts.com

Barry had a special going on at the corvette forum. He's now the "automotive" distributor for the corrosion product line. He had some ideas he wanted to talked about and I was in Columbia SC. He drove from Atlanta GA (3-4 hours) in his 63 red fuelie...I was impressed. He's an NCRS member and member of Southeast

Looking at the corrosion x website, do I want the Corrosion X or the Corrosion X Heavy Duty? What is the best for our corvettes in storage?

I talked with them a while ago and they said that if your not going to see a lot of rain or salt air the reguler corrosion X is fine. Mike

            Re: CORROSION X

Corrosion HD is a thickened Corrosion X product. I use it (HD) on my 78 and about to reapply and I live half block from the ocean. Think of it as the Expresso version of regular coffee. The HD doesn't drip and when I checked it a couple of weeks ago...no rust. Like the vendor indicated the "X" product will is probably ok for components that see little of the elements.

I traveled over 2,500 miles with HD and have yet to reapply...that was during the summer of Corvette's 50th anniversary...so the "stick" power is pretty good.
