(63 AIM Sect. 1, Sheet A20.00)
When I disassembled the car, the only two bolts that I broke off were the rear (#4) body mount bolts. So I have broken off bolts (snapped at the nut, nothing to grab onto) in the caged nuts on both sides. And the caged nut on the right side is no longer restrained and spins. The rivets for the nut cages are under the reinforcement brackets (which are also a bit rusty). To get a fresh start, it looks like I need to remove the reinforcements and the cages. So I drill the rivets and remove and replace the reinforcements and cages? Any words of caution, special tools needed, things to pay special attention to?
