Louis
The NCRS book store sells the book from Noland Adams "Noland Adams bodylift workbook". It has 2-3 different dollies to chose from all of various sizes and shapes.- Top

Try your service manual
All you need are the locations of the four on each side body mounts and create a dolly. You can get those from the service manual on the chassis dimensions.
Some worry the front end will break off, but really it is the weight of the front creating torque on the center section that is a problem. For a short time, you only need a square under the center section of the body if you have a coupe. However, don't go long term.
Long term and convertibles need to have support under the front and the back to prevent the weight from twisting or cracking the center.- Top

Re: Body Dollie
Louis, I have pictures AND dimensions for a dolly that I used under my 67 coupe. The body made 6 100 mile trips in an enclosed trailer on this dolly. It was on it for about 2 yrs. Send me an e-mail and I'll send you the info...- Top

Re: Body Dollie
Louis, Go to nuairfluidpower.com and look at their Corvette Body Dolly. Pretty slick setup. I bought one for my 67 restoration and using it now, It is great. I too thought about building a dolly till I saw this. When I am done, I can sell it to recover some of the $775 I paid for it..Kurt- Top
