Are these specs for the 270hp cam or 300hp cam or the same for both?

Same. The 3896929 cam was the base engine cam beginning with the '67 327/300, so it's generally known as the "300HP cam". It replaced an earlier cam with slightly different specs and was the base engine cam through 1980. Of course, over this era, power ratings changed due to reductions in compression ratio, the switch to SAE net from SAE gross ratings, and the addition of emission related equipment such as inlet air heat stoves and the single catalytic converter.

The nadir was the 1975 base engine that was rated at only 165 net HP, but with the exception of a 8.5:1 compression ratio, this engine was basically the same as the '69 350/300 from the carburetor to the exhaust manifolds.

Duke,

I forget to ask this ... If I do use the L79 cam, will it produce enough vacuum for the power brakes, headlight/wiper doors ?

Probably since the L-82 used a similar cam.
