2 C2 questions

All,

I have two questions:

1st, is GM# 3933847 a rocker molding part number? If not what is it?

2nd, I'm looking for an accurate written description of an original 66 SB hood. I'm looking to buy one and would like to arm myself with good information prior to spending the money. Could someone provide such a description?

BTW - went to my first NCRS event at the Peterson in LA (I've been a member for 2 years). Met some great people, saw some awesome cars, and had a good time.

A description isn't as good as a picture or better, a first-hand look. The '66 has two holes cut out in the front left hand side on the bottom to access the nuts on the Corvette emblem on the hood. '65 and '67 do not have that. The fiberglass is reasonably smooth underneath, with some fibers noticable if you look closely, but not looking like a wet pile of hair.

Original '67 SB hoods have the same four holes (One elongated at an angle)for the script attachment, but are 3/16" wider in the front.

This is a big block hood, but it does show the two holes in the left front corner.

Oh, I count four holes below the hinge mounts.
