At what approx VIN number did the shocks change from grey to black?

re shocks color changeover joe lucia snooz i can't tell you the exact vin number and i doubt that anyone could but the engineering specification change took place in very early january after that time the revised painted parts would have to have worked their way into production and then got to the assembly plant production line so i think we could say that if ones car was built before january it probably didn't have the gray shocks it's hard to imagine that this change could have worked it way to the production line before say mid february but that's just a guess
