    Lyndon:

The tops have as many as 8 adjustment points. In the past when I have replaced the tops with NOS GM weatherstripping, I would play with all the posistions to align the tops straighter and more uniform in appearance than the factory did. This often took a lot of time in adjusting all the different positions for the top to seal around the winshield and divider reinforcement structure between the tops as well as fore and aft positioning.

Be patient, there is also a Corvette News issue in 1971 that shows and demonstrates all the different locations for positioning the tops.

Warren, that would make a good article for the Corvette Restorer.

I think I found the problem, the guide pin was lose on that side, I hope that works it was real lose, I will check later when I drive again. you would no when I get my car out again gas would go to over 2.00$ dollors a galon, an that 454 will not pass an gas station.

Hi Warren I'd Like to see that article from the Corvette News 1971 (what month) I'm missing these ones (Dec/Jan 71, Feb/Mar71, Apr/May71, Jun/Jul71,) if there is anyway to see the info it would be appreciated because my left top needs an adjustment.
          Thanks.
          Ken.

            Ken:

The issue is Apr/May 1971. The article also talks about adjustments for hardtop, softop, side windows, back window as well as tops.

Haven't got a clue how to post pictures yet. Sorry
