    Source for 67 Master Cylinder

Can anyone help me with a source for a correct master cylinder with casting number 5455509 for my 67 coupe? My review of the archives revealed a referral to Muskegon Brake in 1999 but no contact information was included in the posting.

    John,
I bought a correct rebuilt master cylinder from Muskegon Brake last year. They carry repo and rebuilt correct cylinders. They threw in a cap and it turned out to be a correct, not a repo cap. There website is www.muskegonbrake.com, (800) 442-0335.

John, I bought one for a friend a few years ago at Bloomington from ASL (Industries?). Good price and it was a top quality rebuild. I heard they changed names and locations in recent years. Maybe someone can post their current contact information. Good luck. Jim

Well lets not get pissy about it

Yes, I agree 100% with John, Don is still around. Used to work here at Boeing in Seattle for awhile after ASL went out of buisness in Nevada.

How about reading the post and ....

comprehending it before blurting erroneous information followed by NM. I stated ASL is still around at a different location which they are as confirmed by John. Get over it.

Re: How about getting your facts straight

I just talked to Don and confirmed the following. ASL restoration services has been out of business for quite a few years. Their last location was Sparks Nevada. The founder and principal owner was Mr. Don Dorfman who now has a limited part time hobby buisness fixing manifolds and doing some metal finishing. He does not use the defunct ASL company name and will be back to work at Boeing in a couple weeks.
