Deck underside paint question

I would appreciate some clarification please, the 66 JG states that the underside of the deck is painted body color as is the deck latch assembly and associated hardware. Does that mean the handle that opens the deck lid, the cable, latches, etc. are all painted body color? What is "all associated hardware"? Thanks.

The center actuating handle mechanism and bolting hardware that attach it to the deck lid, the cables the go to either side of the deck lid, the latching mechanisms on each side of the deck lid and bolting hardware that attach the latches to the deck lid.
