the RWL are jut to big, they draw you eye into the tire an take away from the tire over all. if they the tire mfg would come out with a small RWL radial they could sell an bunch just to ncrs guys not mention the other car clubs ect..

Then just buy the blackwalls that Duke mentions for everyday driving if you can't find any RWL tires that you like.

Also, the collector car market is really quite small, especially when you consider that driving one of our older cars 2k miles a year is a big deal. At that rate, our tires "age out" before they wear out. We're way off the radar screen to the tire manufacturers, and I'm not sure any of us really want's "Bubba's Tires" to come out with a small lettered RWL tire with their name on it.

So, we use what's available for daily driving, and tolerate the repros for shows.
