Jack W. Davis 1957 FI Corvette Racing

I recently obtained some photos, news articles racing programs and copies of the Corvette Club of America publication CORVETTE COURIER. This memorbilia appears to have been compiled by Barbara Davis wife of Captian Jack W. Davis who was a member of the USMC T&T Regiment Quantico, VA in 1957. There are several photographs of Jack in his 1957 Fuel Injected Corvette in what I`m assuming to be SCCA and other races on the East Coast in 1957 & 1958. There is also a letter from Rothenthal Chevrolet (Bob Rosenthal) congratulating Jack on the purchase of his Corvette.
Do any of you know or remember Jack?? I`d like this memorbilia to end up with the person who has his Corvette although there is no indication of the VIN in this collection.
I`ll try to post some of the more interesting photos when I figure out how to scan and post them.

I am restoring the primary Bob Rosenthal-sponsored 1957 Corvette. Bark Henry drove the car in 1957, winning Lime Rock and Montgomery and scored high in a number of other 1957 SCCA races on the central and upper east coast. Although I don't believe I have the car you are referencing, it might be if we are talking about races in 1958 or later.
