c1 seatbelts

id like to know the original finish on the seatbelt hambones and tighteners before being installed on the car.also the bolt and small c clip that holds the female buckle together? 1960.

The hambones and tighteners were zinc/cad-plated; dunno about the c-clip.

The hambones were plated as John said, but were installed before painting, so most judges expect to see some paint on them and the bolts as well. The belts were not installed until later, so the tension bars should not show paint. I believe the clip was black.
