what paint would you use to redo some PO2 covers. also has anyone bought the repo center caps an did they come with new screws? my are faded an the bolts are rusty I might get them at a hard ware store.

To redo your PO'2s you have to drill out the rivits holding in the center cap on the inside of the hub. You will have to buy small sheet metal screws used in the drilled holes to put the center caps back together. Use the other hex head screws that are with the caps. After you take the center fins and the lighter ss cap apart, try just polishing the cap part (part with the black paint.) I've never had to paint one! The plastic crossed flage emblems on the center hub can be bought new and work perfect.
In most cases you have to find several PO'2s at swap meets etc. before you get enough parts to make a decent set. Also look at 1970 Buick Riviera caps, except for the plastic emblem, they are the same.
