ce engine code xcb loren i have a ce crate engine or chevrolet engine complete motor block heads of vintage stamped s xcb i'm aware that this is a replacement motor sold by chevy it's a candidate to replace the one in my el camino can anyone provide the specs for the xcb so that i don't have to open it up to verify compression cam etc the guys at chevy seem to be unsure as to whether or not they ever built a small block v thanks reply here or call or fax

re ce engine code xcb bill clupper loren do you have the part number under which the engine was bought i might be able to help if so i checked my parts book for your code and came up empty but i might have some luck with my parts mgr buddy at the local dealership if there is a p n clup
