Well, I completed the heater core replacement on my '66 this weekend. Thanks to everyone that replied to my original msg for help several weeks ago, especially Dave, who sent me a step-by step article. The article was great and I printed it out, in large print so I didn't need my glasses to read it, and had it on my workbench. I would add a few steps to it that made things a little easier. First, I removed both seats, which made getting to the duct work on the driver side easier and since I had both out, I switched driver and passenger seat when re-installing for more even wear. Once I had the heater hoses off, I put a large rag under the bottom pipe of the heater core and using low pressure, blew air into the top pipe to get most of the anti-freeze out. This made for zero leakage in the interior when I pulled the heater core out from the inside. Once again, thanks to all for the help.
