66 distributor shield

My distributor shield is exactly as described in the JG, except for the fact that the opaque plastic insulator was glued to the shield as well as held by the two plastic rivets. It looks like contact cement was used.
Is this "Bubba" at work ,Or factory ?

I also added a couple layers of duct tape inside the shield near the coil. I understand the coil terminals can short out against the shroud.
