Anyway to refresh/repaint the letters on dash controls, such as wipers/lighter/ign/etc..Dash paint is good but the white or silver lettering is worn off..Are there any stencils or tricks without sending the dash for refrub? Thanks as always, Wayne

Re: mid year dash lettering
Those controls with indented emboss (deboss) with white accent paint are pretty easy to do yourself. Get the part clean/dry, run a small artist's brush with white paint across the letters to fill 'em and then carefully wipe the upper surface clean of excess white paint with a shop towel moistened in lacquer thinner....- Top

Re: mid year dash lettering
Wayne,
I'm a little confused on this. If we're talking about the letters "lights", "wipers" etc., behing the knobs on the IP housing, I think they were chrome, not painted. The entire face of the housing was chromed before the black paint was applied, then removed on the faces of the letters and the rings around the instruments.- Top
