      Joe,

I'm relatively certain my 72 also has St. Louis air in it. Prior to owner #5 (a friend of mine) it had never even been out of the carrier.

        St. Louis Air

Patrick: I'm pretty sure there's no difference between the air from St. Louis and that in most other Mississippi River towns. It's hot and moist during summer.

I can recall attempting to get it to flow more freely in and out of my '62 Impala SS while drag racing at Kohoka, MO. That was before...

        Heck, that was before everything!

          Re: 67 Front stabilizer bar?

Kevin - I'm curious that maybe the bolts the judge was referring to were the link bolts at the ends of the front stabilizer bar. I don't see a reference to any bolt head markings in the '67 TIM&JG but the '66 TIM&JG does mention the bolt head marking for these bolts. As others have mentioned, I would expect the bolts attaching the bushing bracket to be 5/16"-18 x 7/8" with the indented head and an integral lock washer. The common headmark found on '66s and '67s is an anchor. BTW, good judging practice is to either note on the judging sheet or explain to the owner not only what was found to not be typical production but to describe what would be expected. So hopefully, the judge explained to you at least what he was expecting to see. Pete

            Peter

I can't wait to get home and look at the link bolts. So much was going on I thought the referanced bolts were the ones pictured, could be my bad. I have a local vintage junk yard and I try to replace incorrect parts if I can find them.

              Tom,

Since the car was built the first week of June, I'd say that early July here in MI would replicate it quite well if I wanted to add more air at any time.

I just got a email that cleared some things up. The large bolt has three lines and RBW. I could see it from my picture, can't make out the small bolt anchor but will check it out when I get home. Thanks for all the help I'll post what I find on the end bolts in the morning.

                  To clear things up

The "bolts" the judges were referring to were the end bolts on the sway bar. It wasn't to clear on the judging sheet but in checking the ones on my car there wrong, should be the WB 2C bolts, so I need a pair. Do you guys know if other Chevy's used these or do I get a repop set.
