Label on Plastic of soft top

Hello All - I have a soft top, but the plexiglass is blank. It does not have the vynlite label in the lower left corner. Can anybody recommend some one who can add emboss the plastic with the label and date code? Does anybody have a picture of an original soft top that I can use to determine position and what is said in the label?

Reproduction ST labels are sold frequently since they're prone to tearing off. Check the Corvette Central/Paragon catalogs and I think you'll find what you're looking for.

As far as where it was attached, they were sewn in and placement would have varied slightly with the assy operator. In general, try the lower LH rear roughly 1 to 2-inches toward center from the LH corner.

In terms of dating the rear plastic, I don't know of anyone offering this service EXCEPT when you buy a fresh replacement soft top. Those without dates and/of mfgr ID, are typical of service replacement tops. Expect to take a deduction for lack of date and/or mfgr ID until the top is worn out and ready to be replaced.

Note: some reproduction sources bundle the two items (mfgr ID and date) together such that if you don't order a dated top you get one with NOTHING on the rear window...

The tag is sewn 4 1/2 inches to the right of the vertical seam that runs all the way from the front to the back. It is sewn into the bottom seam below the window of course. Tom
