I give up...I have spent months looking for a #5464435 Master cyclinder for my 64. I have searched Hemmings, E bay, Swap meets, Drivelines, and part houses. I have found ones that were exhorbantly priced and I have found people who resleeve them. I cannot find anyone who has cores. Has any member out there been thru this and possibly solved this one. I have paid my dues (10 months) now I am singing the blues....help! Any names and phone numbers??

Snooz, Have you tried David Sokolowski in CA at 310-329-5334 I bought a core for my 63 (one year only) including cap and screw for $200. Not cheap, after sleeving I'll have about $325-350 invested.

re master cyclinders mid year don snooz i have a mi that i drive as often as possible i went through the same thing your going through with the master cylinder the thing i hate the most is the downtime when my is sick i finally went to a local parts store and ordered a new wagner f for around and a lifetime guarantee it looks surprizing original but lacks the proper casting number and bleed screw but for i'm back out on the road if i ever run across an original master cylinder i'll keep it in a box for the next owner just another option donComment

|Have you tried Paragon Corvette outside of Detroit? They have a large selection of mid year used parts.

We just bought an original master cylinder and lid for our 67 coupe. Call C.C.S.B. Inc. at 800 262 9595 and ask for Luke he should have anything that you are looking for as far as master cylinders are concerned. Hope this helps. His workmanship is worth its weight.
