C2 L79 Ground Strap

I don't have my AIM handy right now since I'm on the road. Does the ground strap from accelerator lever to ingition shield bracket have an eye end on it?
If so, does it mount under the ignition shield bracket on manifold bolt? Should I remove paint from bracket in that area for a good ground connection?

Here is a picture of my 67 SB, I'd say yes to removeing the paint as far as the eyes go there behind the bracket on this picture but I think there are eyes.

Thanks Kevin,
I have ordered a new ground strap. From your picture, I think there is an eye on the bracket end. Mine did not have an eye, the strap was just squished in under the bracket.
