re please john bowties john waggoner to glenn and all we are experiencing high traffic on the server due to another site that is overloading their bandwidth i am familiar with this problem the service provider has assured us that the other site will be moved to another machine asap i hope this accounts for all of the weird things that are going on tonight i am going to quit trying to fix any problems till this settles down i fix one thing and something unrelated shows up the gremlins are out to get us john

re please john bowties patrick paradise john i posted a message a couple weeks ago to thank you ncrs for getting the discussion board back up and running the loss of the ncrs discussion board for those few days sent me into cyberspace looking for my corvette motorsports nightly fix my point and praise is this your layout is clean simple and easy on the eyes please strive to keep it that way other sites i checked out were borderline obnoxious glitzy animations midi music banner ads enough to make me feel a sense of motion sickness although there have been a few bugs in the new server setup please do not get discouraged from my humble veiwpoint you and ncrs have created the best place on the entire internet to spend an hour or so every night keep up the good work pat paradise- Top

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. As I suspected the Bowties came back just as mysteriously as they left. Now if the Cookie situation will just fix itself!

Bowties are back! They came back as mysteriously as they disappeared. The Netscape Cookies problem is also fixed. I found a discrepancy in one of the scripts that I.E. could tolerate, while Netscape would not. I'm going to assume that the AOL Browser will also find this acceptable.
